Luisa B, Medical Aesthetician
Luisa is a certified medical aesthetician who is passionate about helping clients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. After graduating from the prestigious Blanche MacDonald Centre, Luisa made it her mission to help clients understand their skin health. She thrives to continually learn and refine her techniques to provide the best care for her clients. Luisa specializes and has her certification for HydraFacial, AlumierMD Chemical Peels, Cutera Xeo Laser, Laser Genesis and the list goes on. Brittany O, RMT
Brittany graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2018. While attending college she was able to work with multiple organizations including; Canuck Place Children’s hospice, UBC varsity athletes, and the WCCMT MS in-reach. Having experienced many injuries playing competitive sports growing up and seeing the benefits of physical therapies on the healing process. Brittany enjoys working with a variety of conditions including, but not limited to; managing stress, repetitive strain injuries, headaches, sports injuries, and postural dysfunction. Her techniques include myofascial release, and trigger point release with a holistic approach. She believes in the importance of educating her patients and providing tools they can take away to reach their goals.
Autumn M, RMT
Autumn is a recent graduate from West Coast College of Massage Therapy. As a therapist she provides safe and effective treatments that target and treat specific musculoskeletal needs. Autumn’s focus and experience incorporates the styles of deep tissue and flowing swedish massage with neuromuscular techniques, trigger point release, active stretching & fascial techniques. Her treatments are individualized to your goals and needs at the time of your appointment. She is passionate about the human body and helping her clients reach their goals while utilizing her knowledge and experience from school. When Autumn is not in the treatment room you can find her walking her dog, spending time with friends and family or traveling.
Jay Mundakal, RMT
Jay’s career span has covered various settings from physiotherapy clinics and doctor’s offices dealing with rehab, motor vehicle accident cases and workplace injuries, to spa and wellness centres focused on mind-body de-stress. His goal with every treatment is to facilitate the client’s healing process, working within their comfort range in regard to pressure and techniques used while also aiming to promote a deep sense of relaxation and well being by the end of a session. He uses many techniques that involve a combination of Swedish massage, deep tissue, joint mobilizations, trigger point therapy, fascial release and passive stretching.
Deesha T, RN
Deesha graduated with a BSN degree in 1996, primarily working in Surgery as a Registered Nurse. In 2004, she took time away to raise her 3 children. After returning to the workforce, her passion for aesthetic medicine led her on a journey into Cosmetic injectables and dermal fillers in 2016. Deesha has trained under some of North America’s most advanced injectors and continues all learning opportunities when and where she can. Her passion is to make individuals feel and look their best refreshed selves!
Dr. Emily Kootwyk, D.C
Emily completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the University of Western States. Her areas of expertise include conducting thorough history and physical exams, performing fundamental movement screenings and assessments, and providing chiropractic manual manipulation, including drop table and activator adjustments. She is skilled in manual and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and therapy, such as active release techniques, cupping, and IASTM tools. Emily’s practice focuses on musculoskeletal spinal and extremity care, including the treatment of Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) pain and discogenic pain, which encompasses pinched nerves, sciatic pain, and numbness or tingling symptoms. Additionally, she designs and supervises rehabilitation exercises and activities, holding certifications in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) and Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), with a strong emphasis on movement as medicine.

Lindsay brings over 14 yers of diverse nursing experience to Hydra Med Spa and Wellness. Her background spans medical/surgical, emergency care, and intravenous outpatient therapy, providing a comprehensive approach to patient wellness. Lindsay’s extensive experience and dedication to quality care ensures that clients receive exceptional service and expertise.
